Last minute plans, a quick find for a babysitter (thanks to my sis.) and Jay and I were off to Toronto (3.5 hour ride) for the bike show. We got there a little after 1:00 pm. It was very busy!! We did a couple of loops around rubbing shoulder to shoulder with other bike enthusiasts looking for a good deal. It was great to see that even with the economy being the way it is, people were still shopping, bags in hand with new purchases and new bikes out the door. Regardless of the way times may be, we all still need an outlet, a hobby, a passion. That's what makes us feel alive, and we only have one shot at living! Alright, I'll stop the preaching but I will tell you about my great buys!! Cytomax recovery, Fox Gloves, shoes, rain coat, and time with Jay, deal of the day!!! ahhhhhh!!!! It was a fun day and we managed to be home by 10:00 pm.
I took the day off the bike but obviously biking was still on the brain!
