I don't want my posts to become repetitive so I will keep this one brief. I will let the pictures explain the ride and each rider can share their own story.
Last Sunday I joined the WRCS ride #4. There were about 23 riders and the temps were just below freezing. The pace was a bit quicker and there were a few attacks made from the front (quick little sprints to spark the muscles).
I am still trying to figure out the gearing for my single speed. Ratios, gears, conversions, percentages, distance travelled, blah, blah, blah................... I have mentioned many times in the past that I just want to ride. Riding a single speed gets rid of shifting issues, however poses a bigger problem, gear selection!! ARGH!!
Hopefully I will have it all figured out for next Sunday's ride. If not, I will continue to be that spinning mad'woman' trying to convince myself it will only make me stronger!!
Cheers,
Sue
