
I started my weight room training and things are going good. Jay has shown me many exercises and my body has responded and the verdict is………..pain!! No, I guess it’s not that bad but I am sore! We’re mixing things up making sure the muscles recover before working them again. In between sets I get on the bike (on the trainer) to spin my legs and keep my heart rate up a bit. Lots of strength training and that’s exactly what I need. My hamstrings are tight (story of my life), but on the first night Jay had me do stiff legged dead lifts, well that was last Thurs. and today being Wed. I can actually start to touch my hamstrings without much discomfort! Yikes!! Needless to say we haven’t done any more hamstring stuff since. Soon though!! I went for a ride outside yesterday. The temps sat around freezing and the air was nice and crisp. Today is a different story, actually pretty nippy out! Not to mention it is sooo WINDY that my hydro keeps flickering. Brrr, think I'll keep the training indoors today!
