Well here I am sitting in front of my computer Sat. afternoon. There is something wrong with this picture. In fact I should not even be home right now. After following the forecast for Bolton (near the O-Cup #2 venue) for the last couple of days it was decided yesterday evening that we would not be heading up to camp early for O-Cup #2 (race Sunday). That also means no pre-ride (yikes)! Anyhow, the forecast called for thunderstorms/rain all day Saturday with a high of 14°C and low of 4°C. We had planned to take the 4 kids and be gone by 6:30-7:00 am (Sat.), but camping in a tent, in the rain, in the cold was not what I wanted to do again! So we will head up tomorrow (Sun.), with my kids as my cheering section, for mother's day and I'll be ready to race. Should be fun and I'll post when we get back!
Sometimes plans change!!
