Average Speed = Irrelevant (today)...............

With so much to do I thought I would prioritize my day!! So yep, I got on my bike. Windy, cloudy (with bursts of sun) and with rain in the forecast there was an importance to get on my bike before all else. You see it wasn't about a hard effort, nor steady state or tempo it was just because.... Fresh air and the road ahead of me. I laughed to myself as I passed the 60 km/hr sign, sure did not apply to me but the slow moving vehicle sign was definitely more descriptive of my pace. During the race season, when rides become about training, you don't stop to appreciate your surroundings, you are driven by the focus of the intended ride. So for no other reason other then freedom I am blogging about my ride of leisure, where my average speed is irrelevant, and for today I liked it!!!

Cheers,

Sue
