For the past few years I have been racing at Boyne for the State Championships (Fun Promotions). Well I sat this year's out!! I came down with a crazy head cold! Ears, sinus' and headaches! I usually try to race through any sickness but seeing that the weather was calling for rain and cold temps (the weather is normally not a big deal), a 3.5 hour trip each way (not a big deal, I enjoy the drive) and then the issue with my head (deciding factor) I opted to stay home. I paced around the house this morning and at 10:00 am (race start time) I got bummed out!! :( I wished I was there!!! Addiction, passion, hobby, exercises, craziness, competitiveness.... call it what you want I really have a hard time sitting out!! I love to ride/race at Boyne. The trails are beautiful and at this time of the year the fall colors are awesome!
So I cast this head cold away cuz' I'm too 'antsy' and I don't want to miss another race day!!!
